Today is Monday in the 15th week post Pentecosten, the 2nd of September. It is a feria (that is, there is no feast on the Kalendarium on today's date) so the Mass is Sunday's reprised with the Gloria omitted, Inclina Domine aurem tuam ad me et exaudi me, unless some votive Mass is celebrated as at Le Barroux, where that of Saint Joseph was sung, Adiutor et protector noster est Dominus.

At Saint-Eugène, M l'Abbé Cuchet offered Holy Mass today, the Mass... white and gold vestments so not the Sunday Mass. It is the feast of Saint Clodoald Priest and Confessor, Fils de France and hermit. Born in 522, he is the first prince of the House of France to have been honored with public cult; the Mass is Dominus protector vitae meae a quo trepidabo but it must be from the proper of France or of Paris (it's not at Gregobase).

The Roman Martyrology today, for tomorrow September 8, the 6th day before the Ides of September.

✠      ✠      ✠

Laus Deo Virginique Matri
