Today is the feast of the Saints Pope Cornelius and the Bishop Cyprian, Martyrs. At Barroux, the ordo continues to mystify me, ha. The pertinent lines are:
Sab. 16 de B.M.V. 4cl.
Cm. SS. Cornelii Pp. & Cypriani Ep. MM.
So in the morning, the monks will sing the Salve sancta Parens for the commemoratio in Sabbato Sanctae Mariae or the Mass Intret in conspectu tuo for the Holy Martyrs (at least, Intret is the Mass provided in the Missale Romanum).
At Barroux, the Mass Salve sancta Parens was sung. Those texts are here, although one must scroll down below the Matins lessons.
But... at Saint-Eugène, his Eminence Raymond Cardinal Burke will be celebrating a solemn pontifical Mass in thanksgiving for ten years of good works of the Association SOS Chrétiens d’Orient, the votive Mass of the Holy Name of Mary, Vultum tuum deprecabuntur. The page at the Schola's website is here; the pdf of the Holy Mass is here.
The Schola will be singing Charpentier's Ecce sacerdos magnus H 432, and the Laudes regiae while his Eminence is being clothed with the pontifical garments and vestments-- I myself would have to look up all of what is involved. All I can think of at the moment are the pontifical buskins and the pontifical gloves.
They have erected the cardinalatial throne just outside the sanctuary, which took a couple of minutes to get used to. But the Schola has been magnificent thus far; it is Charpentier's Mass Assumpta est (the 'Messe rouge') H 11 being sung (they've reached the Gloria at this point).
My usual mouse has elected to stop working this morning, adding a few moments of irritation to the event: I had to substitute another requiring fussing with batteries and those little thingeys one plugs into the laptop.
The ministers, God bless 'em, have finally situated themselves on the steps of the throne, copes properly covering knees and all.
Three collects: of the votive Mass of Our Lady's Name, of the Holy Martyrs Cornelius and Cyprian, and then of the Martyrs Saints Euphemia, Lucia and Geminianus, who are also commemorated today.
The Gradual Benedicta et venerabilis es and the Alleluia Post partum Virgo inviolata were beautiful.
Charpentier's Magnificat H 72 was sung at the incensing of the altar.
The O salutaris Hostia at the Elevation was composed by Saint François de Sales.
There are violins, violoncellos, a theorbo, flutes, a trombone, drums: such magnificence assembled for the greater glory of the divine Majesty!
Charpentier's Te Deum H 147 was sung in thanksgiving.
Out I go for the morning walk, some two and three-quarters hours after this Mass began. Eh.

custódiam. ℣. Glória Patri.
Oratio. Beatórum Mártyrum, paritérque Pontíficum Cornélii et Cypriáni nos quǽsumus Dómine festa tueántur: et eórum comméndet orátio veneránda. Per Dóminum.
Léctio libri Sapiéntiæ.
Sap. 3, 1-8.
Graduale. Exodi 15,11. Gloriósus Deus in Sanctis suis: mirábilis in majestáte, fáciens prodígia. ℣. Ibid., 6. Déxtera tua, Domine, glorificáta est in virtúte: déxtera manus tua confrégit inimícos.
Allelúja, allelúja. ℣. Eccli. 44, 14.
In patiéntia vestra possidébitis ánimas vestras.
Offertorium. Ps. 67, 36. Mirábilis Deus in Sanctis suis: Deus Israël, ipse dabit virtútem et fortitúdinem plebi suæ: benedíctus Deus, allelúja.
Secreta.
Postcommunio. Quǽsumus, Dómine, salutáribus repléti mystériis: ut, quorum sollémnia celebrámus, eórum oratiónibus adjuvémur. Per Dóminum.
