Ne me mortuam lugeátis: nam una cum his virgínibus vivo apud illum in cælis, quem in terris tota mente diléxi...

Today is the feast of Saint Peter Nolasco after 1939 and Our Lady's Saturday prior to that. The second feast of Saint Agnes is commemorated today, before and after Divino afflatu-- evidence of the worshipful high esteem in which she was held at Rome, perhaps the relic of an octave. And it is also the feast of Saint Charlemagne; the sequence Urbs Aquensis, sung at least at Aix-la-Chapelle, Aachen, is infra. (There are other pages about the feast, including the Mass from the Proprium Parisiense, at Fr Maximilien-Marie du Sacré-Coeur's site, here.)

Urbs Aquensis, urbs regalis,
Regni sedes principalis,
Prima regni curia,

Regi regum pange laudes
Quae de magni regis gaudes
Caroli praesentia.

Iste coetus psallat laetus,
Psallat chorus hic sonorus
Vocali concordia.

At dum manus operatur
Bonum, quod cor meditatur,
Dulcis est psalmodia.

Hac in die duo festa
Magni regis magna gesta
Recolat Ecclesia.

Reges terrae et omnes populi
Omnes simul plaudant et singuli
Celebri laetitia.

Hic est Christi miles fortis
Et invictae dux cohortis
Decem sternit millia.

Terram purgat lolio
Atque metis gladio
Ex messe zizania.

Hic est magnus imperator,
Boni fructus bonus sator
Et prudens agricola.

Infideles hic convertit
Fana, deos, hic evertit
Et confregit idola.

Hic superbos domat reges,
Hic regnare sanctas leges
Fecit cum justitia.

Quam tuetur sine fine
Ut et justus, sed nec sine
Sit misericordia.

Oleo laetitiae unctus dono gratiae
Ceteris prae regibus, cum corona gloriae
Majestatis regiae, insignitur fascibus.

O Rex mundi triumphator,
Jesu Christi conregator,
Sit pro nobis exorator,
Sancte Pater Carole,

Emundati a peccatis,
Ut in regno claritatis
Nos, plebs tua, cum beatis
Caeli simus incolae.

Stella maris, ô Maria,
Mundi salus, vitae via,
Vacillantum rege gressus
Et ad Regem des accessus
In perenni gloria.

Christe, splendor Dei Patris,
Incorruptae Fili Matris,
Per hunc sanctum, cujus festa
Celebramus, nobis praesta
Sempiterna gaudia.
Amen.

It only now (tsk; I can only say this has not happened in a while) occurs to me that the Mass at Saint-Eugène has already been celebrated; at Barroux, the monks sang the Mass of Our Lady (keeping Saint Peter's feast next week, together with Saint Raymund de Peñafort; hmm). Am just beginning to listen to Terce at Barroux so will listen to the Mass from Saint-E. after I've returned from my walk and the shopping.

Except that it is the Mass Vultum tuum deprecabuntur at Barroux, not Terce. I am confused, ha....  It is the proper Saturday Mass for the time between Epiphany and the Purification in the Missale Romanum: but what happened to Terce? The horarium must be altered somewhat on Saturdays of Our Lady; I don't know.

Have the video recording on now; Father N.-- I recognise him although I don't know his name; he has said Mass at Saint-E. more than once-- is at the foot of the altar. Am not sure of the temperature outside but I took my pullover off on the return walk: I prefer to be a bit chilly than to sweat in midwinter. Father N. is saying the Mass Iustus ut palma, of Saint Peter Nolasco. He did not feel obliged to deliver a sermon or homily-- good for him! Of course, some of the faithful look forward to them, homilies. Ahem.
