The stars are glittering, the Moon is rising...

And Dawn is begun erasing the darkness in the eastern skies. I'm playing catch up, rather, this morning. Already at 0541, tsk. It is the feast of Saint Philip Benizi and the Vigil of the Apostle Saint Bartholomew is commemorated. I spent too much time listening to Lotti's Echo yesterday.

Have returned from the walk and the shopping, and Holy Mass at Saint-E. has begun. Bought an ear of corn at the supermarket, presuming that it wouldn't be very tasty, but I roasted it for second breakfast and it was delicious. Perhaps it is just that I haven't had any corn on the cob this summer, perhaps the produce buyer at Safeway got lucky; who knows.
