Today is the feast of the Most Holy Name of Jesus...

In the Traditional Rite. Am awake, at least.

In nómine Jesu omne genu flectátur, cœléstium, terréstrium et infernórum: et omnis lingua confiteátur, quia Dóminus Jesus Christus in glória est Dei Patris

Ps 8:2.

Dómine, Dóminus noster, quam admirábile est nomen tuum in univérsa terra!

V. Glória Patri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sancto.

R. Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper, et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen.

In nómine Jesu omne genu flectátur, cœléstium, terréstrium et infernórum: et omnis lingua confiteátur, quia Dóminus Jesus Christus in glória est Dei Patris

M. Grodziski is sermonizing; at 0230, shaking my head (at the absurdity of me hearing a sermon in French that I'm not listening to, at this hour). Beginning tomorrow (it is the feast of Saint Geneviève, patroness of Paris, and so the Mass will be streamed), I'm going to try to follow the sermons at Saint-Eugène, ahem-- a resolution in the new year. We shall see.

Jesu dulcis memoria at the Communion; probably my favorite hymn.

Time for the Night Office.
