I will admit to being rather tired of it, although it has its moments of beauty, the rainy weather. Had to go out to the hospital this morning... to provide a specimen, ahem, for the laboratory to analyze. Seemed to be a great deal of to-ing and fro-ing for me to... well, well.
Noted earlier that today, the anniversary of the birth of Henri IV, saw celebrated at the Lateran Archbasilica the annual Mass pro felici ac prospero statu Galliae, the circumstances of which are described in this post from Maître-Chat Lully. It is one of those historical oddities, ironies, that M. Macron is honorary canon of the great Mater et caput of all the churches of the world.
