A beautful morning, just 50 degrees F....

Although when I was out for my walk earlier it was in the upper 40s. The eastern sky was perfectly clear as the Sun rose. Today is the feast of the confessor Saint Raymund Nonnatus (Introibo, CE, Wiki). His second name, Nonnatus, refers to the fact that he was taken from his mother's womb after she had died, hence he was non natus, not born.

Post Tertiam. Have been listening to the recording of Chloe Jiyeong Mun's recital yesterday.

Post Vesperas. The Pontifical North American College in Rome has suppressed all the Traditional Masses celebrated there and all training for the celebration of the Traditional Mass, Rorate Caeli reported earlier. I am more and more willing to believe that the Holy See is preparing to close the traditional seminaries, if only by ordering that there be no new seminarians allowed to matriculate. Tsk.

It is also the feast of Saint Joseph of Arimathaea (1st century), of Saint Cutburga (8th century), and of Saint Aidan (7th century).

V. Et álibi aliórum plurimórum sanctórum Mártyrum et Confessórum, atque sanctárum Vírginum. R. Deo grátias.
