Had to go out to the supermarket...

So took the 'long walk' this morning. Scattered drops of rain throughout but there was a light shower when I was inside the store, and the lovely petrichor scent beginning a quarter of a mile distant as I departed. A heavier shower held off until I walked into the driveway at the house but it has now dwindled to the barest existence that a shower can have. Am listening to the nuns at Jouques; they're singing the Introit Ego autem cum iustitia, of the Mass of the Friday in the 2nd Week of Lent; Saint-Eugène is streaming Mass at the usual hour but they will be celebrating the votive Mass of the Sacred Heart Cogitationes Cordis eius, it being the First Friday of the month, with a commemoration of the Lenten feria. I can't find Ego autem cum iustitia at YouTube but this is Cogitationes cordis eius. Time for Terce.

Post Vesperas. Has been raining, a cold rain, since 1000. I am about to prepare my rice and tuna and broccoli.

It is also the feast of Saint Frambold (8th century), of Saint Pontius (11th century), and of Blessed Lazarus (20th century).

V. Et álibi aliórum plurimórum sanctórum Mártyrum et Confessórum, atque sanctárum Vírginum. R. Deo grátias.
