The collect of February 19th...

Today, in certain places, congregations, and provinces the Feast of the Most Holy Crown of Thorns of Our Lord Jesus Christ is celebrated; this was a fairly widespread custom until the liturgical nonsense of the 50s under Pius XII. My understanding is that at e.g. Saint-Eugène the Mass of the Holy Crown will be celebrated with commemoration of the Friday post Cineros.

V. Dómine, exáudi oratiónem meam.
R. Et clamor meus ad te véniat.

Orémus.

Praesta, quaesumus, omnipotens Deus: ut, qui in memoriam passionis Domini Nostri Jesu Christi Coronam ejus spineam veneramur in terris, ab ipso gloria et honore coronari mereamur in caelis: Qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitate Spiritus Sancti Deus per omnia saecula saeculorum.

Amen.

R. Amen.
